Born May 4, 1948, in DeWitt, Missouri, Barb was the daughter of Gordon and Nedra Heishman. She married Joseph Baldwin in Marshall, Missouri, and built a life centered on family, faith, friendship and community.

Barb found happiness in experiences that brought people together. She enjoyed traveling with her church, meeting friends for lunch and spending time at the community center, where she played cards and bingo. She also had a particular fondness for Hallmark movies and stories centered on family, love and happy endings.

Her family remained at the heart of her life. Barb is survived by her sons, Glen Leimkuehler of Columbia and Charles Leimkuehler of Marshall, along with four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Sharon Barnett of Springfield, as well as sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Baldwin, her parents and several siblings. Her obituary remembers her as someone who valued the people around her and found meaning in ordinary moments shared with family and friends.
