Savannah Parker Obituary: Fayetteville, Arkansas Woodland Junior High Student Dies in ATV Accident

FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS — Savannah Parker, a student at Woodland Junior High School in Fayetteville, has died following an ATV accident that also claimed the life of fellow Woodland student Olivia Pamungkas.

The two students died Saturday, September 19, 2026, in an ATV accident just outside Fayetteville’s city limits, according to local reporting. Woodland Junior High Principal David McClure confirmed their deaths in a message sent to families on Sunday.

The news has prompted an outpouring of grief across the Fayetteville community. A candlelight vigil was held Sunday evening at Legacy Studio of Performing Arts, where community members gathered to remember Savannah and Olivia and support their families. Fayetteville Mayor Molly Rawn also expressed condolences to the families.

At Woodland Junior High, additional counselors are being made available during the week to help students process the loss. Principal McClure encouraged parents to give children an opportunity to talk openly about their feelings and to watch for changes in behavior, concentration or emotional well-being following the deaths.
