Ashley Flynn Obituary, Tipp City Ohio Death: Beloved Teacher and Mother Honored as Caleb Flynn Murder Trial Continues
Ashley Elizabeth Flynn, 37, of Tipp City, Ohio, is being remembered as a devoted mother, teacher and coach as the murder trial surrounding her February 2026 death continues in Miami County.
Flynn died on February 16, 2026, after she was found fatally shot inside the family’s Tipp City home. Her husband, Caleb Flynn, has pleaded not guilty to charges including aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, tampering with evidence and intimidation. Prosecutors allege that he killed Ashley and staged the home to resemble a burglary; the defense disputes that account and maintains that the evidence does not establish his guilt.
Ashley’s published obituary describes her as a loving wife and caring mother to two daughters. A graduate of Tipp City High School and Lee University, she was active in her church and worked as a dedicated teacher with Lifewise Academy. She also served as a substitute teacher and seventh-grade volleyball coach.
